No.

Do CrossFit, and make sure that you are doing full Range of Motion.
Are you going to require your chest to touch the bar during the pullups?
Probably.
What if I can't touch touch my chest to the bar when I do pullups?
You have over 4 months to train for the Regional Games, so start doing them.
Where should I stay for the Regional Games?
More information will be coming about the hotels in the area.
How will the Regional Games be judged? Each competitor, in each heat, will have their own judge. That judge will determine whether or not each rep is a good rep, and count for that athlete. The Head Judge was a competitor at the 2008 CrossFit Games and was the Head Judge at the Regional Games in 2009. She is very motivated to ensure that each athlete at our Regional Games is treated the same, regardless of where you are from, or what your name is. She will be backed up by 25 judges that will have gone through at least 3 practice meets. Her Assistant Head Judge is 6'6" and weighs 275 lbs. You will be dealing with him with any questions that you might have during the event.
I hear that Denver is pretty high, how is that going to effect me?
In our experience the more fit that you are, the less effect the altitude has on you. So, the strongest CrossFitters that have visited us showed very little, if any, effect. The normal advice with acclimatization is the longer that you can be at altitude, the better off you will be.
What does the competition space look like.
We are holding this year's North Central Regional Games at the Douglas County Event Center, in Castle Rock Colorado. It is an amazing venue.
