We realize that there are some mixed heats for tomorrows events. We realized it after we had already posted the heats, and we have decided to go with the heats as they are posted. Please be at the gym ready to go at your assigned heat start time. See you in the morning.
For time:
From the ground to overhead anyhow.
7,000 lbs for the men, 5,000 for the women
All of the competetitors had to choose what weight they are going to do for the workout. The choices, with the corresponding numbers of reps are listed below.
The barbell starts on the ground and must end up locked out overhead. You can use any technique you want to achieve that.
Power clean and jerk
Clean and jerk
Power snatch
Squat snatch
Round back deadlift-to a reverse curl-to a press
Some combination of the above choices.
Make up your own technique
1. You must be stable and unmoving at the top of the lockout, with your knees, hips, and shoulders in a straight line.
2. Your feet have to be stable and unmoving at the time of the lockout.
3. You may split jerk, but if you do your feet must be brought back to parallel and unmoving before your lock out will be complete.
4. You may not bounce the bumpers, and then go from the hang position.
5. Your hands must be on the bar when the bumpers are in contact with the ground.
6. You may not change your weight.
Men's Choices 7,000 lbs for time
155 lbs x 46 reps
135 lbs x 52 reps
95 lbs x 74 reps
75 lbs x 94 reps
Women's Choices 5,000 lbs for time
100 lbs x 50 reps
85 lbs x 59 reps
65 lbs x 77 reps
55 lbs x 91 reps
Good luck to all of the competitors.

Here are the starting times for every athlete for both of Saturday's events. You will notice that if you are in heat 1 for the first event, you are in heat 1 for the second event. If you see any spelling mistakes or the wrong Affiliate listed, please email frcf.games@me.com .
On Saturday, you will need to check in at the Heat Check-in Tent immediately after the prior heat starts. You can't miss it, it has a big sign. Heat Check-in for your heat will close 10 minutes prior to your scheduled heat start.
Travel safe. We will see you Friday night.
Two days to go.
Thursday afternoon, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM we have open gym hours at FRCF for all of the competitors from out of town. There is a $20 drop-in fee.
Friday night we will be at FRCF from 5:00 till 8:30 PM for Athlete Check-in. During that time you will have the opportunity to come in and see the space, sign your waiver and pick up your athlete goody bag and event t-shirt. Each athlete will need to come in and sign yourself in. You cannot have anyone else do it for you. At the end of the check-in process you will have an athlete ID band secured to your wrist. You will need to wear it for the entire event. No ID band, no entrance into the competition space.
We will have a much smaller sign-in crew on Saturday morning, so if at all possible try to get in and get it taken care of Friday night. Trust me, you will be so amped up Saturday morning you won't want to deal with this. Get it done Friday night.
